Months have come and gone since my last update, but I’m grateful to share I have been busy with continued opportunities to teach, lead workshops, and accompany faith communities in times of transition.

After a flurry of travel in the first weeks of the new year, I settled into the role of Interim Director of Music at McLean Baptist Church, where I’ll serve until early July. This is my first foray into the Baptist tradition, and I’ve been grateful to experience new patterns of worship, thoughtful preaching, and openness to a variety of musical expressions. I‘m also consulting with two local congregations, Western Presbyterian Church and Rockville Presbyterian Church, as they search for new musicians.

It has been a season of listening and discernment as new possibilities and energy emerge. I’m leaning into what’s just below the surface, at the edges of my vision, or whispered on the wind, seeking wisdom for the unique, itinerant work that has connected me to so many of you.
