Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Over the past decade, I’ve enjoyed a practice of improvising on Advent and Christmas carols, looking for ways they speak to the spirit of the season and my spiritual journey. They’re personal interpretations and not the harmonizations you’ll find in hymnals. But I share one each year hoping it shines new light on the melodies and words of these beloved carols, making space for contemplation and prayer.
