autumn update
How can it already be mid-October, friends?! The last weeks have passed quickly and joyfully, with visits to Lebanon, PA, Roanoke, VA and Chicago, IL alongside my semi-regular commute between St. Louis and New York City. There's been a lot of focus on Advent music and planning, including several workshops focused on creative planning for the season. There have also been opportunities to lead song in a variety of contexts - anti-racism workshops, bi-lingual worship services, and a program for the St. Louis Chapter of the American Guild of Organists.
I'll head to California this week and look forward to seeing friends and colleagues in San Diego and Orange County. Join me for a half-day workshop on Saturday, October 21 focused on leadership that inspires congregational singing.
And this month ends with Sharing the Song, a much-anticipated workshop with American musical treasure Alice Parker. She'll be at Eden Seminary for several days of song leader training and we'll share leadership at Community SINGs each evening. Each event is free and open to all, so please join us if you're nearby!
